Empowering Communities Through The Power of Human Rights and Development
Thank you for stopping by!
My name is Saba Wallace and I am an independent human rights and international development consultant and facilitator. With a focus on capacity building in gender rights, children’s rights, and freedom of religion or belief, I bring both expertise and heart to every project I undertake.
Sweden is home, but the world is my workplace.
I have lived and worked in 12 countries around the world that has shaped me into who I am today.
I have been actively engaged in human rights and international development work for almost 25 years and have a long and varied track record.
‘We are all experts in our own little niches’
I care deeply about human rights and empowerment of people. My passion for this work started as a student volunteer and those experiences resonate with me to this day. With extensive experience working across Europe, Asia, and Africa, I’ve gained expertise in human rights and a wealth of knowledge in intercultural collaboration. My unique experience of having lived and worked in various cultures has strengthened my skill in understanding people and their needs. I value partnerships with organisations that are human rights centered and put human rights at the very heart of their policies and practices.
My consultancy is deeply aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), working to strengthen institutions, empower communities, and foster inclusive dialogue for sustainable change, with a deeper focus on SDGs 4,5,8, 10, 16, and 17.
From the very beginning of my career, I have been committed to creating environments where every individual’s rights are respected and their voices heard. I believe that capacity building isn’t just about training or policy - it’s about inspiring sustainable change that uplifts communities, nurtures equity, and paves the way for a more inclusive future.
My work is driven by a simple yet powerful philosophy: Every person deserves the opportunity to thrive in an environment of fairness, respect, and freedom. This belief has guided my professional journey and remains the cornerstone of every initiative I lead.
If you are an International Organisation or an NGO and are looking for an internationally experienced development practitioner for your project, I can’t wait to meet and support you.
“Every person deserves the opportunity to thrive in an environment of fairness, respect, and freedom.”

“I highly recommend Saba and her expertise on FoRB, resource development and capacity building. She is highly professional and easy to collaborate with and gives her best in the tasks she’s given!
Saba developed an online course on FoRB and legal frameworks for the organization that I work with, and it was a comprehensive task to comprise great amounts of details into something that is context-specific and easily understandable to the learner. She managed this challenge very well! I strongly recommend Saba to anyone in need of a consultant that not only is knowledgeable but also puts her heart into it.”
